SITTI SYSTEMS FOR ITALIAN FIREFIGHTERS

The Italian firefighters and SITTI have been sharing a long-lasting history all along many years of positive achievements and response to their specific high value needs that may lead to save people in dramatic situations. The prompt and reliable answer to help requests and timely intervention by all needed vehicles and qualified firefighters’ staff is in fact fundamental for providing the population with public safety services. In this perspective, communication is utmost importance for receiving help calls, coordinating intervention, involving other services like ambulances.

SITTI has been awarded the update of the firefighters’ operations rooms in Genova, Milano, Modena, Piacenza and Livorno including the supply of Voice Communication Systems (VCS) and a significant number of operator consoles (CWPs). The new MULTIFONO® M800IP® VCS systems are server based and will be able to connect both analogue and digital telephone and radio links, as well as standard compliant VoIP connections.

The M800IP® system already proved its reliability in other installations across the Italian peninsula at other firefighters’ operations rooms. This new contact follows the positive results achieved so far, allowing them to improve their responsiveness to the challenging needs firefighters are every day asked to give an important contribution to.
